FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Is Astro really provably fair?

Yes. Every round's outcome is committed to in advance and only revealed after betting closes, and anyone can independently recompute and verify it afterward. See Provably Fair.

What's the house edge?

About 3%. See Payouts & Limits for exactly how it's built into the crash formula.

Do I need to complete KYC to play?

No. Astro doesn't perform identity verification. You're responsible for confirming online gambling is legal where you're located, see the Terms.

What currency do I play with?

USDG (Paxos USD) on Robinhood Chain. See Network.

Can I lose money by depositing into the Bankroll?

Yes. The Bankroll's returns aren't guaranteed. See Bankroll Overview for the risk involved.

Can I export my embedded wallet's private key?

Not currently. If that matters to you, connect an external wallet instead. See Embedded Wallet.

Do I need ETH to play?

You need ETH to pay for gas, but you don't need to go acquire it yourself. Astro tops up your wallet automatically, see Gas Drip.

What happens if a round gets stuck?

Bets in a round that doesn't finalize in time are refunded in full. See The Round Lifecycle.

Something's not covered here, who do I ask?

See Support.
