Payouts & Limits

The house edge, and the limits that keep the bankroll solvent.

House edge

Astro runs on a ~3% house edge: on every round, there's a 1-in-33 chance the multiplier crashes instantly at 1.00x. Outside of that chance, the multiplier follows a continuous curve with no other bias. Astro doesn't nudge outcomes against players who are winning or losing. The formula is public and part of what Provably Fair lets you verify.

Bet limits

A minimum and a maximum bet size apply. Both exist to keep individual rounds within the bankroll's capacity, and may be adjusted over time. Check the bet input in the app for the current limits.

Profit caps

To make sure the bankroll can always pay out what it owes, two caps apply on every round:

  • Per-bet cap: no single bet can win more than a set share of the bankroll, regardless of the multiplier it reaches. See forced cashout.
  • Per-round cap: the total payout across every bet in a round can't exceed a set share of the bankroll either. This is a safety backstop; it's sized so that in ordinary play, players' auto-cashout choices keep the round well under it before it would ever bind.

Both caps scale with the size of the bankroll: a bigger Bankroll means bigger bets and bigger wins are possible.

Multiplier cap

Displayed multipliers are capped at 1000x. In the extremely unlikely case the underlying math would produce more, the round settles at 1000x instead.
