If you log in with email or a social account, Astro creates and manages the network connection for you automatically: there's nothing to configure. If you connect an external wallet instead, make sure it's set to Robinhood Chain.
USDG always decrements your on-chain allowance when it's spent, even if you approved the maximum amount. This is a property of the token itself, not an Astro bug. If you interact with the contracts directly (rather than through the app), you may need to re-approve more often than you would with a typical USDC deployment.
