Overview

Every bet placed on Astro is paid out of (or paid into) a single shared pool of USDG: the Bankroll. Anyone can deposit into it. You don't have to bet against the house; you can own a piece of it instead.

How it works

The Bankroll is an ERC-4626 vault. Deposit USDG, receive ASTROLP shares in return. Those shares represent your proportional claim on the Bankroll's assets: as the Bankroll's balance grows from the house edge, each share becomes worth more USDG; when it pays out more than it collects, share value falls.

There's no fixed term and no lock-up beyond a same-block restriction (see Depositing & Withdrawing). Redeem your shares back for USDG whenever you like, subject to the Bankroll having enough uncommitted liquidity at that moment.

The risk is real

The Bankroll's performance is not guaranteed. Its edge is statistical, over many rounds: a short stretch of high-multiplier wins by players can reduce it, and there is no principal protection. Only deposit what you're prepared to see fluctuate in value, including downward.
